In Boise, Nampa, Idaho, there is no longer a bedroom community, but everything you need to live comfortably, including a full-time job, a great school system, and many affordable housing options. Next to the medical campus is the Nampa Recreation Center, known for its extensive outdoor recreational facilities, and there is an active community center with a variety of activities for children and adults. There are four elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools in the city, but for a younger crowd, most students will also visit the Vallivue School District, one of the schools most sought after by students from kindergarten through high school. Nampas school district includes four high schools, one of which offers alternative high schools for students struggling with traditional high schools.

In early 2009, the plant was home to antiquated press equipment that had been discarded and not replaced by the Idaho statesman. Nampa was also selected as one of the top ten cities in the state for the 2014 Idaho State Fair. South of Nampas Lake Lowell there is an area where it is considered to be a wintering area and some residents no longer provide primary care to other residents. The land on the old farm has since been sold and is now embedded in golf courses in Centennial and Ridgecrest.

The Idaho Center arena is best known for hosting the Snake River Stampede Rodeo in the third week of July. With over 1,000 seats and a variety of entertainment options, there is something for everyone in the city centre of Nampas.

Nampa residents no longer have to commute to Boise as often as they used to, saving fuel costs and time. More money in your pocket could mean you will have the resources to enjoy the many lakes and rivers that Idaho and certainly Nampas have to offer, whether it is water recreation or not. You can spend the extra money and find entertainment at the Idaho Center arena, the Snake River Stampede Rodeo or even one of the many parks in town. In winter, the inhabitants of Nampsa go to the mountains to snowboard or to enjoy the fun of the Bogus Basin - the hills full of mountains.
